Coaching Staff

Ryan Wilhite -  Head Football Coach

Ryan Wilhite serves as the Head Football Coach at Springboro. Coach Wilhite is a graduate of West Carrollton High School and Morehead State University where he played wide receiver. Upon graduating from college, Coach Wilhite was the varsity wide receivers coach and head JV coach at Lakota West High School. Coach Wilhite then moved to the college ranks where he coached at Wittenberg University working with the tight ends. He was on a staff that led the Tigers to a perfect 10-0 regular season record and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III playoffs. Coach Wilhite’s next stop was at Wayne High School where he served as the offensive line coach and offensive coordinator. During his 6 years at Wayne, the Warriors won 5 league titles and qualified for the Division 1 playoffs 4 times.   Coach Wilhite’s Springboro teams have won 3 GWOC South titles and he was named the GWOC South Coach of the Year in 2007, 2008 and in 2010.  Coach Wilhite works with the Springboro offensive line.

Coach Wilhite is married to Jennifer and they have a son, Brayden, and a daughter, Leah.

Mike Fisher – Offensive Coordinator – Quarterbacks Coach

Mike Fisher coaches the quarterbacks at Springboro and coordinates the offense. He is a graduate of Wayne High School and Wilmington College where he played quarterback. Upon graduating from Wilmington, Coach Fisher began coaching the quarterbacks at Chaminade Julienne High School. He then moved to Wayne High School where he coached both tight ends and quarterbacks. Coach Fisher has tutored 3 first team All-Ohio Quarterbacks, one of which was named the Ohio Division 1 Offensive Player of the Year (Alex Earley).

Coach Fisher is married to Laura and they have a daughter, Mya, and a son, Dane.

Jason Brown – Defensive Coordinator – Defensive Line

Jason Brown coordinates the Stonewall Defense for the Panthers. Coach Brown is a graduate of Wapakoneta High School and played linebacker at Ashland University. Coach Brown also spent time playing football overseas with the Fischamend Oilers in Fischamend, Austria. Coach Brown also serves as the defensive line coach for the Panthers. Prior to joining the Springboro staff, Coach Brown coached the linebackers at Wapakoneta High School. He is a graduate of Wright State University.

Coach Brown is married to Darcy. They have a son, Lincoln.

Nic Black – Assistant Head Coach / Co-Defensive Coordinator

Nic Black is in his second stint with the Panthers after 2 seasons as head coach of the Graham Falcons where he led them to a Central Buckeye Conference championship in 2009.  Prior to his time at Graham, Coach Black was the defensive coordinator at Springboro where he led 2 top ranked GWOC South defenses.  Coach Black has also coached at the college level at Millikan University and at the University of Dayton.  Coach Black served for a season as the defensive coodinator at Springfield Shawnee prior to pursuing college coaching.  Coach Black is a graduate of Wittenberg University where he played linebacker for the Tigers and a graduate of Piqua High School.

Coach Black is married to Cassie.

Alex Earley – Wide Receivers / Head JV Coach

Alex Earley serves as the Panther wide receivers coach and leads the Springboro JV team. Coach Earley is a graduate of Wayne High School. Coach Earley was an All-Ohio selection at quarterback for the Warriors and was named the Ohio Division 1 Offensive Player of the Year as a senior. Coach Earley played baseball at Youngstown State University and played baseball and football at Urbana University. A shoulder injury cut Alex’s athletic career short and he is now finishing his teaching degree at Wright State University.  He also serves as the head freshmen baseball coach at Springboro.

Coach Earley is married to Gina.

Heath Feldman – Special Teams Coordinator / Defensive Backs

Heath Feldman brings a wealth of coaching experience to the Panthers staff. Coach Feldman, a native of Cleveland, Ohio and a graduate of Miami University coaches the Springboro secondary.  He is also the coordinator of the Panther special teams.  Coach Feldman started his coaching career at Talawanda High School and then moved to Fairmont High School where he worked with the defensive backs, quarterbacks and held the title of special teams coordinator. He most recently was at Beavercreek High School where he served as the defensive coordinator and then the offensive coordinator.

Coach Feldman is married to Jenn, and they have three children, Alex, Emma, and Sam.

Zack Cline – Linebackers

Zack Cline coaches the linebackers for the Stonewall Defense.  He graduated from Worthington High School and then played football at the University of Dayton.  Coach Cline began coaching at Chaminade Julienne and then was an assistant and head coach at Miamisburg High School. 

Coach Cline is married to Emily and they have a son, Henry.

John Aregood – Tight Ends

John Aregood works the Springboro tight ends.  John has a very successful background as a coach.  He was the head football coach at Franklin High School for 16 years 2 years at Carlisle.  John was most recently the offensive coordinator at Hamilton High School.  John is a graduate of Franklin High School. 

John is married to Kristine and has a son, Tim, and two daughters, Casey and  Michaela.  He also has four grandchildren, Ashtin, Lincoln, Camryn and Waylon.

Anthony Cook – Volunteer Assistant

Anthony Cook is in a volunteer role with the Panthers as a gameday consultant.  Coach Cook was a long-time assistant at Springboro working with the Panther runningbacks.  Coach Cook now works for New York Life Insurance.  While he currently isn’t responsible for an on-field position, he is a valuable piece of Springboro’s game day operation in the press box.

Coach Cook is married to Danielle and they have a son, Trey, and a daughter, Lyla.

 

  Mark Brown – Kickers

Mark Brown, is the kicking coach at Springboro High School and is a graduate of Alter High School and Purdue University where he was a kicker and a defensive back.

Mark is married to Jill and they have five children, Kyle, Westin, Suzanne, Griffen, and Owen.
