DALLAS, Texas – Springboro grad Jake Ballard continued to make the most of his oppotunity in the NFL last night as the New York Giants got a much needed NFC East road win against the Dallas Cowboys.

Ballard caught an 8-yard touchdown pass with 3:14 remaining to bring the Giants within one score of the division leading Cowboys.  Then, after the New York defense got a stop, Ballard had 2 huge catches to contribute to quarterback Eli Manning’s masterful 2 minute drill, the second of which got the Giants offense down to the Dallas 1-yard line. 

The Giants blocked a Dallas FG attempt to end the game and reclaim first place in the NFC East division.  The Giants now control their own destiny toward the NFL Playoffs and their up and coming tight end from Springboro, Ohio continues to be a meaningful piece of the Giants offense.
