The Springboro Football Panthers are happy to announce their involvement in an event that will benefit the Susan G. Comen for the Cure Foundation.
On Friday, August 19, the Panthers will travel to Fairfield to compete in a Jamboree (scrimmage) football game with the Fairfield Indians. The freshmen will scrimmage at 5:30, followed by the varsity / jv scrimmage at 7:00. The Jamboree game was designed by the OHSAA to help raise money for a portion of the OHSAA Catastrophic Insurance Program. In addition, the Fairfield Athletic Department will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Susan G. Comen for the Cure Foundation. Susan G. Comen for the Cure is the global leader in breast cancer awareness, having donated more than $1.9 billion since inception in 1982.
Admission to the game is $5 for adults and $1 for students.
Springboro fans are encouraged to travel to Fairfield to get a sneak peak at the 2011 Panthers and to help support a worthy cause.
