The Springboro football program has a unique process for selecting its team captains.  Tradition is that the outgoing senior class votes at the end of the season to name one captain to lead the Panthers throughout the off season.  This captain is named and speaks at the football banquet.  The off-season captain for the 2009 Springboro Panthers was TAYLOR FRANZ.  At the end of 2-a-days, the team voted on two captains to join Taylor.  Joining Taylor, as captains for the 2009 season are JAKE DWYER and ANTOIN CAMPBELL.  Finally, the three captains and the coaching staff will select a game captain each week as the 4th captain.
