FAIRBORN--With a GWOC South championship on the line, the Springboro Panthers took care of business in a big way as they buried the Fairborn Skyhawks 42-0 on a rainy week 10 night. The game was a lopsided affair on both sides of the ball as the Springboro offense generated 434 yards of offense and the Stonewall Defense held the Skyhawk offense to a measley 64 total yards.
Tailback Antoin Campbell ripped off 191 yards rushing to end the season over 1,000 and Matt Graber tossed the ball for 175 yards and a touchdown pass but the real stat of the night belonged to the Springboro defense. The Panthers bruising defense sacked Fairborn quarterback Kendrick Williams 7 times. Just as bad, the Fairborn offense rushed the ball 38 times for only 12 yards.
Junior Jason Stinebaugh connected with Beau Sauley for the second time this year on a 22 yard touchdown pass and Zach Lindamood also hauled in a 19 yard score.
With the win, the Panthers finished undefeated in the GWOC South for the second year in a row and claimed their 2nd GWOC South crown in as many years.
